Event host/MC

Narelda has been hosting events for almost three decades. From award galas to multi-day conferences, intimate dinners to report launches, you name it and she has done it with her signature professionalism, high energy and interpersonal style.

Narelda is also an experienced panel moderator, bringing her decades of journalism experience to navigate complex conversations with genuine interest and care. As a panellist Narelda brings her lived experience as a First Nations woman, a lesbian, a mum of two and a veteran of the Australian media industry.

Keynote Speaker

Narelda's keynotes are grounded in truth-telling and current affairs. You can take the journalist out of the newsroom but not the news out of the journalist. Narelda draws on her lived experience as a blak, queer, news presenter to deliver inspiring, honest and motivating speeches.

Her intention is always to give her audience an insight they wouldn't get anywhere else, and to leave them with a call to action to help make a fairer and more equal society for all people.

Consultancy

Narelda is available for one-on-one media consultancy with individuals and organisations, including for cultural consultancy within the media itself.

Narelda also welcomes enquiries for other partnerships, campaigns and opportunities.
